Our service to you

Truly Medical Getaways offer an initial medical consultation and health screen, where you can discuss your surgery and expectations with a qualified member of staff. On booking you will be professionally fitted with your post-surgery support garment and be given essential information for pre- and post-op care to take with you. On your return home, you will receive a medical follow-up by a Registered Nurse, followed by another at 3-6 months. In the meantime, any questions or concerns can be discussed with us at any time.

We organise Cosmetic Surgery for both men and women, and all aspects of Dental work and Laser Eye surgery. All at a fraction of the cost of treatment here in Australia. Other medical procedures and treatments can be arranged with specialist doctors and surgeons, saving you from the long waiting lists that exist in Australian hospitals. Whether you prefer travelling alone, with friends or family, or in one of our escorted group getaways, you can trust us to make it a happy, affordable and worry-free experience!

About us

Company Director, Moira Williamson, is a Registered Nurse with years’ experience in acute medical and surgical nursing in Perth, Australia. Additionally, she has had cosmetic surgery, and actually worked in a large Cosmetic Surgery Department in Phuket as a patient liaison nurse during 2011. During this time, Moira experienced the high level of medical care and service that is comparable, if not better than a lot of Australian private hospitals! Moira herself has also had major surgery there, and so can share her experience from both an employee and a patient’s point of view!

With every booking, TMG will donate a substantial amount to the Soi Dog Foundation Phuket, a not-for-profit registered charitable organization that helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Southern Thailand. This is an invaluable organisation, providing food, veterinary treatment, sterilization and a rehoming service for the many stray dogs and cats that inhabit the island. Many of the rescued animals have been residents of the shelter for years, and thus Soi Dog rely on sponsorship as well as donations and volunteering to keep them and run this truly amazing organization.

So for around 30 to 70% less than what you would pay for medical treatment here in Australia, you can combine your surgery with a relaxing holiday on a tropical island AND help a worthwhile cause!
